Back Spacing

Looking for some info....I know there is probably a sticky somewhere with this info....but thought this may be easier. I have stock suspension currently as well as stock wheel tubs on my 68. I am looking to put Hotchkis 3 inch drop coils up front as well as either ridetech or hotchkis 2-3 inch drop leafs in the rear (probably a mono configuration) So my question is I would like to run 18's on all 4 corners. 8 wide in the front and 9.5's in the rear. Can I get away with a 5.5 backspacing without putting mini tubs in?

Thanks for your help.

Re: Back Spacing

Yes 5.5" backspace works perfect for a 9.5" wide rear wheel. Im running 19x10's out back with 5.75" bs on my 69. Tubs are stock but I did trim the wheelwell lips.
