Custom Wheel choice for 1969 Camaro

My 1969 Camaro RS/SS is near completion. Going to purchase a set of 18" wheels...
Looking at several sets of forged polished aluminum wheels. Takes 6 weeks or so to have them completed.
Anyone have any input on a nice wheel. I have a few i have considered. pics attached.
Any input is appreciated. Really struggling to settle on a custom wheel. Car is Lemans blue with white Rally stripes
Thanks

US Mags are not Custom. Which means they are not expensive.

I just put US Mag Ramblers on my 66 Chevelle. They’re great and everybody thinks I spent big money on them👍

I ordered from Summit and had them in 3 days

Re: Custom Wheel choice for 1969 Camaro

you are correct if you buy the us mag cast wheels. I have seen both the cast and the forged US mag. The ones i am looking at are actually forged polished aluminum that you must order with custom offsets.. cost about 700-800 and look much better than the cast one piece wheels.
Any input on these or other suggestions would be great ..thanks

Usually I spend $4k to $5k for wheels on my protour builds. I spent $880 with free ship for the cast and they look great

US mags has some of the Rambler's in a chrome finish that look pretty good if you're looking for chrome, priced reasonable.

Another company to check out are Rocket Racing wheels, good size options, about double the price of the US mags.

I went with the US mags in gunmetal & like them a lot for the money.

Wheels should be a statement of yourself. As it is always nice to get opinions of others, at the end of the day you have to live with your decision. You should get what you think looks good.

Re: Custom Wheel choice for 1969 Camaro

I just installed Chrome Foose Knuckles on my 69. I went with 17 x 8 all around with 255 and 235 BFG. Not to big, no issues and it keeps a bit of original look with decent sidewalls. Paid $225 per wheel with shipping from Discount wheel in Ca

Who makes the wheels you are looking to have made? You might get some good feedback that will help in your decision if you post that info here.

Re: Custom Wheel choice for 1969 Camaro

The OP never mentioned budget, but the minute you say "forged" the price goes up by leaps and bounds over cast polished, plated, or powder coated aluminum. While some think its a PITA to maintain polished forged wheels... I see it as "therapy" LOL. I opted for a set of mint Budniks and saved a bundle... getting nothing but compliments at the shows and cruise nights.

Not too many people look into them, but American Racing does have a custom wheel program with some nice looking wheels.
