Spare tire

In 1967 (and perhaps the same for 68 and 69?), what spare tire rim/tire was supplied in the trunk?

My 67 most likely came with 14 inch plain steel rims and center hubcaps, as it was a 6 cylinder, column shift hardtop, with drum brakes all around.

I have recently installed a set of 14 inch rally wheels, off of a 68 with drum brakes. I'm looking to get a spare tire and the jack, lug wrench, hold down, etc. to replace the all this stuff that's missing. I looked at various restoration sites, including the registry, but cannot find anything that states what the spare tire was.

I'm guessing that 14 inch rally's got a 14 inch steel wheel as a spare. Just want to verify.

Never argue with an idiot; they'll only drag you down to their level, then beat you with experience.

Re: Spare tire

The spare tire always matched the other 4 wheels and tires. So you need a 5th 14" rally with the same tire as mounted on the other 4.

The only exception was the space saving spare tire avail in the 68 and 69 model year.
