15" Torq Thrust Originals fitment

Anyone on here running 15" Torq Thrust Originals on a 68 Camaro with stock suspension? My shop called American Racing yesterday and the guy thought the 7" fronts wouldn't fit (or might rub) due to my factory front disc brakes.

Can anyone shed light on their setup? I'm looking to go Polyglas or WideOval, with the widest possible rear tire

If you don't get a response here, maybe try a PM to "Sosh67" as he has TT's on his 67 L78 with stock suspension & DB, I believe. Here's his build thread....https://www.camaros.net/forums/133-b...l78-build.html

Re: 15" Torq Thrust Originals fitment

On a different GM vehicle, (65 Chevy van), I had to take a grinder to shave off some of the excess of the casting on the calipers in order to make 15" cragars clear disc brakes. You may have to do the same thing in order to run the torq thrusts. It seems they cast alot of excess material into the calipers and that is what was rubbing on my wheels

The important thing here is that you ask me what kind of car I've got. "I've got a BITCHIN' CAMARO"
