Front Runners

Hi all,

I'm placing a pair of 3.5" Centerline Auto Drags on the from of my 67 and I've noticed that the axel hub hole is very deep - 1.25 inch compared to 0.75 inch for the rear Centerline Auto Drags.
As a result the axel hole of the wheel overhangs the axel itself.
Is this unsafe? If so would I have to get a new hub assembly with deeper hubs?
Thanks in advance!

Re: Front Runners

A picture would be helpful but I'm thinking that what you need is a set of longer wheel studs: <https://www.jegs.com/i/JEGS/555/65100/10002/-1?mrkgcl=1239&mrkgadid=3332957860&adpos=1o1&creati ve=330726016715&device=c&matchtype=&network=g&jegs promo=nonbrand&gclid=CjwKCAjw5dnmBRACEiwAmMYGOQT4N 8IplzaIaoj5RBkxorFlpA_nNXBaYSyfE907Rt5FUvt7cRg52ho Cv0QQAvD_BwE>

In order to be acceptable during an NHRA tech inspection the stud should engage the hex portion of the nut by at least the diameter dimension of the stud.
