17x8 wheel tie rod clearance

If any of you are running 17 x 8 rims @4-3/4 backspace are you all but kissing the tie rod end with it? It look to me running a checking fixture around that it going to be real close on the drivers side.

67RSSS......owned since 69. A basket case for most of it.

I have exactly that setup and doesn’t have any issues that I can notice.
The wheels are Amercian Racing 200S that where special ordered for my car. Run 17x9,5 with 5,75 in rear.
