Correct Color for 1968 Camaro Standard Wheels

Hey Camaro drivers:

Need a little help from the experts out there. Just bought some original 1968 14x6 standard wheels to use with P01 wheel covers for that original look with my 1968 Camaro base model (no SS/RS/Z28). They need to be painted black (I believe), but not sure the exact color, semi-gloss, gloss? Trying to do a nice restoration so the correct paint color and brand of paint is important. Any recommendations that might pass the judges muster? Thanks in advance. Cheers, Tommy68

Most everything painted black from the factory was either 30% ("satin") or 60%("semi-gloss") gloss. Here's a pic from CRG. http://camaros.org/images/pages/options/wheel_68P01.jpg I assume it's an original wheel and cap. I suggest asking over there as they have the most experience in originality...

My best memory guess would be Gloss black or body color, my 69 Chevelle has an original gloss dusk blue spare.

Body color if it came with the dog dish caps, black for full size wheel covers.
