67 RS/SS convertible wheel...

My 67 RS/SS 350 convertible is missing it's original wheels. I have no evidence as to which wheel came with the car, and am trying to put it back to "original." Therefore, I would like to select a wheel that could have been on my car. It was a drum brake front and back, 67 RS/SS 350 convertible gold/gold deluxe/black top car. I believe it should have come standard with 14x6 steel wheels - If I'm correct Rally wheels were ONLY included on disc brake cars - is that correct? Can someone share a photo of what wheels MIGHT have come on this car - please don't share anything that could NOT have come on this car. Thank you in advance.

According to CRG, your 67 "RS/SS" came with 14 x 6 steel (not Rally) wheels if it has drum brakes. IDK if those were dog dish caps, beauty rings or what

Re: 67 RS/SS convertible wheel...

Would anyone know what code would be on that 14 x 6 steel wheel - or should I just buy a set of brand new steel wheels?

Re: 67 RS/SS convertible wheel...

From the CRG link above, FC was the code. The 3 optional wheel covers were PO1, PO2 and N96. PO1 was quite common. As I understand it, base caps ("dogdish") were standard, but I don't recall ever seeing an SS equipped that way.

Re: 67 RS/SS convertible wheel...

This is a thread I started back in 2012 about the steel wheels that are on my 67 RS/SS.
