Wheels - Eccentric Tolerance ??

Does anyone know what is considered too much eccentricity or out-of-round on a wheel? It would be nice to check new wheels prior to mounting tires on them.

Thank you in advance.

What kind of wheels are they?

When I ordered my Budniks, they told me the specs theirs must be before they're shipped, but I don't remember that spec.

Re: Wheels - Eccentric Tolerance ??

Steel OEM production wheel tolerances are normally .035" total indicated runout for both radial and lateral.

Re: Wheels - Eccentric Tolerance ??

Is a .020" lateral runout "in tolerance" for a billet wheel? Should it cause appreciable vibration? I am trying to diagnose a front vibration problem that occurs >60 mph. I had a load force test done on the front wheels/tires and the only problem indicated was the runout on one wheel.
