17-20's any regrets?

I'm torn between going with 17's front and 17's rear or instead going bigger like 18's front and 20's rear. I have the Detroit Speed mini tub rear kit and I'm definitely going wide in the rear (probably 11" if I can fit it). I'm just wondering if anyone here has regrets either way going too big or too small.

How's the ride quality, etc? Thanks for any feedback you can help me with in my decision.

Re: 17-20's any regrets?

In hindsight I wish I would have went with 18x8 up front and 18x9.5 in the rear. 18s just fill out the wheelwell better IMO.

No regrets. I had 17's and then went to 18's once I mini-tubbed my 69.

Thanks for the feedback everyone. I'd definitely like to see some 18/front, 20/rear pics.

Re: 17-20's any regrets?

I bought 17s all around, but the more I look at it, and at others, I like 18s better. Will change someday.

Re: 17-20's any regrets?

I don't know how to post a picture but the sizes i am running is 20x8.5(20x9.5) in the rear and 18x7(18x8) in the front. The wheel I chose was the Intro Pentia Wheel. You can see them on Intros website along with pics of a few first gen camaros ranging in wheel sizes. As for the backspacing, I don't know, Dave at Intro was so confident with stock fitment that he took care of everything. The only modifications I have in my suspension is that I lowered the car. Which he said won't affect anything. wheels should be in on the 27th of this month at the latest. If my car is not being wired at a different location pics will be up that night or the next day. I will post in the Project Update section at Pro-touring. Sorry I couldn't give any more info on my fitment. Call dave (1-800-454-6876) and he will be more than happy to answer any questions. Beware though, He comes off like a Know-It-All. I guess he is just that confident in his product. We'll see...

Feather-light suspension, Konis just couldn't hold
I'm so glad I took a look inside your showroom doors
