what do i have to do to fit 245/50R16 on my 69 camaro

i have talked to a few people that had 245/50R16's on all four corners of their first gens.......i have them on the rear and want them on the front..i tried swapping them and had them on the front for a few days and they rubbed a little....what do i need to do to fit them...my rims are 16x8 with 4.5 b/s can i trim the lip on the wheel well and go to smaller head screws on the inner fender....any one with any experience in this.....

Use buttonhead screws on the wheelhouse. For street use, a -1/2* - -1* camber will work well and give you more clearance and should not effect overall tire wear. Run as much caster as possible without rubbing the rear of the wheelwell while turning.

Use 5/16 - 18 UNC buttonhead screws available at your local hardware store. You may not need them in all locations since the '69 wheelwell is shaped differently than '67-8.

I used this setup with only a very slight amount of rubbing on the aft section of the front subframe.

a 69 wheelwell has an inch more width over a 67/68.
