16 inch torq thrust d

Does anyone know if a 16 inch torq thrust D will fit over a 13inch rotor with a c5 caliper. I am starting to look at wheels and would rather run a 16 over a 17.

Re: 16 inch torq thrust d

i have 16 tt2s
and the 13" kit from baer
i dont know which corvette caliper it is but i believe they use corvette stuff

the wheels do fit but they are very tight, and you have to grind part of the caliper off
plus 16" rims dont offer anywhere near as many tire sizes as 17"

so if i could do it again i would pick 17" rims

here is a pick of carlc's car with 17's, as you can see 17's dont look very big in my opinion
and when i first saw them I thought they were 16's

I would think they would. It wasn't until the C5 that wheel sizes started to grow in diameter.

Well, If you would be using a c5 style rotor (touring classics non hybrid kit) they say that ou can not fit TT2's because of calliper to spoke clearance so i dont imagine it would be any better with a d, also i have a feeling you would be veeery close to not having it fit so i would get my hands on a good template and find a wheel store with some in stock, good luck
