Re: 67 SS rallys

Those are 15" wheel codes.
Camaro non-Disc. rallys were 14"

Re: 67 SS rallys

According to Chevrolet by the #'s book, DG was for the SS with disc brakes 14 x 6. FC is for an SS w?wide tires 14 x 6 doesn't say disc brakes. XN shows up as a 68 code. Hope that helps you out.

Re: 67 SS rallys

so a dog dish hub cap would be right for a SS car without disc brakes

Oops - that will teach me to go look at a list...
Sorry - I read 'DC' in your post not "DG" as you stated.
XN is not a '67 wheel code - so I didn't even get that far. (don't know what you edited?)
Rally wheels were available for non-disc applications in 14X5 so there use with anything other than stcok type skinnyer tires is limited. Hub cap says 'Chevrolet Motor Div. v.s 'Disc. equiped' on the SS's and 15" Z's.
Don't have the code book in front of me - but, I think code is 'DA' - I'll look it up later - I'm probably wrong the way my luck is going...

Re: 67 SS rallys

"DA" is the code on rally wheels (14"x 5") for 67 camaro non ss disc brake. The 67 camaro's didn't have rally wheels on drum brake cars.

Re: 67 SS rallys

Sorry to beat a dead horse here, but did we get an answer for the correct code? My 67 RS/SS with drum brakes DID come with rally's but I'm not sure on the correct wheel code.

Rockin' 4-wheel drums since 1969.

Re: 67 SS rallys

Heres what I have from Jason Scott restoration guide

B 14x5 standard all, exc SS
DA 14x5 Rally w/ fr disc exc SS
DF 15x6 Rally Z28
DG 14x6 SS w fr disc
FC 14x6 SS w/ opt tires (maybe John knows what these optional tires were)

I had same dilemna- installed factory disc brake and used the DG Rally

So DA would be best choice but as others have posted the drum brake 67 car didnt get rally. Perhaps others can suggest how you got them...

Oops see you have the SS car...I would think the DG 6" wheel the best rally choice...

Lane
