Thoughts on Jegs or Summit wheels?

Ok so jegs and summit recently started selling wheels that are the same type as the prostars and drag lites. How do these compare in weight to weld wheels?

I figure that they are either Chinese knock-off's OR they both have made deals with the manufacturer to sell them!!

Anybody know for sure??

Re: Thoughts on Jegs or Summit wheels?

They are actually the old Redline wheels which are no longer available as of last December. When I talked to them about ordering wheels they said they are actually the same blanks that Weld uses. A couple of guys I talked to that had the old Redlines said they where a great deal.

Re: Thoughts on Jegs or Summit wheels?

Summit lists them as "one piece cast". IIRC aren't welds forged?
