Firestone Firehawk Indy 500

lots of post on wheels but i don't see a lot on tires. anyone have any thoughts on these: Firestone Firehawk Indy 500

just not a lot of options out there on 15 inch wheels. i got about 7 hits on tirerack and these seem to be the best rated. thoughts??? not spending time on the track: this is a weekend (sunny day) warrior...

Re: Firestone Firehawk Indy 500

I had them on my 69 before I went to 17" wheels. Very good tire. I had 205/65/15 up front and 275/60/15 on the rear. I also work for Firestone, so I am somewhat biased.

Re: Firestone Firehawk Indy 500

The Firstone Firehawk is a good tire. I used to sell it back in the mid 1990's when I worked for Firestone. I had them on my 1984 Z28 at that time. I like them better than the Goodyear Eagle ST which was also on that car. BTW, I also worked for Goodyear. I left the tire & auto/dealership game in the late 1990's,

Re: Firestone Firehawk Indy 500

I have them all the way around on my 67. I like them a lot. Decent price, and nice riding tires.
