'99 Z28 rims on '69 Camaro ??

sorry if i've missed this somewhere in the threads .......

what would i have to do to swap a set of '99 Z28 chrome 5 spoke rims onto my '69 camaro? these would be 16 inch rims. i would assume that i would need some type of spacer??

it seems like i've seen a few 1st gen camaros with 4th gen rims. but i've not considered doing it myself until recently.

thanks

bill

Re: '99 Z28 rims on '69 Camaro ??

I can tell you this, you're definately going to need spacers. I had an extra set of wheels/tires off my 2000 SS that I figured I would put on my 68 while I refinish the wheels. The fronts wont bolt up due to the steering linkage and the rears do bolt up, but are definately not "right", they sit way to far in. The offset is just wrong. I don't know what size spacer you need, but I'm sure if you talk to Andrew over at www.skulte.com he can hook you up.
