Question What offset to use?

I want to purchase a set of Torque Thurst originals for my Z28 and don't know what offset or backspacing I need. I was just going to buy the 15 x 7 wheels. I just want the look from the era.

Where is the best place to purchase these wheels. I have seen them on the Jegs site and also on wheels for less. Thanks:

Re: What offset to use?

For sizes most run 15x7 with 4" bs up front and 15x8 with 4.5" bs out back. That set up will fit just about any set-up and is very conservative fit wise. What are you planning to run for tires? 225/60R15 with 275/60R15 in the rear or are you going more old school with 215/60R15 and 245/60R15 out back.

Re: What offset to use?

right now I am running BFG Radial T/A's P215 70R15. So I guess I am really old school.
I want the car to look original--somewhat. I know that when I was a teenager with my 68 Camaro I had 70's on the front and 60's on the back. I guess that is the look everyone is getting back to.
I need to do some more homework b/c right now I dont know what I want now.
