Re: 295/65/15 Drag Radials

I had a set on my 67 but it has mini tubs. They were mounted with a 6 1/2" backspace rim.Fit fine until about half track when they grew just enough to rip the chrome moulding off the wheel well. After two mouldings I went back to a 28" tire.

Re: 295/65/15 Drag Radials

On a 69 with the fender lip rolled you will be able to just barely fit a 295/50R15 Drag Radial. I know because I had them! On a 68 there is no way without mini tubbing or using air shocks to keep the rear high!

They will rub just slightly when pulling out onto streets at an angle, and when people are in the rear seat. Using 1.5" Hotchkis drop leafs
