Should I buy rally wheel "kit" ?

Hi Everyone - Decided to go with 15x7 rally wheels for my 67. Ricks and Classic Industries both have a camaro rally wheel kit complete with wheels, rings, caps. My question is considering just the wheel itself - are all wheels the same in that I should price out some other source and consider getting the wheels from another source..and get the rings/caps from Rick's?
Classic Industries also was almost 100 bucks cheaper in price which surprised me as compared to Rick's so I am wondering if there is a difference in rally wheel quality for a Camaro. Classic Industries has a kit for 420.00 with shipping puts it at around 500.00 to me in Maryland. I think I could get the rings/caps from Ricks' for about 250.00.....if the wheels are generic enough (this is the part I don't know) I could let the tire store here order them for me and save myself that heavy shipping charge. Alny and all thoughts appreciated.

Go to for our sponsor Ground Up. You can also try but I don't think he has them anyway, they are not listed on his website.

JD.....You might go to "user CP" at the top left of the page and edit your profile and list you home town, state, etc. It's always fun seeing where other members are from.

About the rally wheels, this is not the best time of year to find local swap meets but you could probably find great deals on wheels, etc if you're patient. I bought a set of 15x7 a few years ago and gave $115 for wheels, rings, and derby caps. I did have to invest in another set of rings as the original stainless ones were eaten up with curb rash. Lots of great stuff at swap meets. Jim

I'll going with the wheel kit from Classic. However I want the chrome rallys, but I want 15x7 on the front and 15x8 on the rear for my 68'. I have to check with them to see if they will mix wheel sizes in chrome. I see that they do it for there silver painted center RS wheels.
