Re: what do you think of these rims?

They look fine. What are they from - maybe a German sedan? Are they the correct size and backspace you want or need? What color is the car going to be? Instead of trying to make them "look" chrome maybe they would look good steel gray or charcol. Just a thought. By the way welcome to the site - lots of helpful info here and great people.

Re: what do you think of these rims?

they're actually bmw rims, i'll have to use about a 1" spacer in order to get the proper back spacing, but they're 17X9 rear and 17X8 front. just had them laying around, thought it would be a good way to save a couple grand. we'll see.

Re: what do you think of these rims?

Very hard to judge a rim with no tires or paint on the car. They will look a LOT different once they are shoed up and the car is lowered down over them. I personally think they will look very good. Or you could just jump on the bus full of Torque Thrust or Ralley Wheeled cars out there. Dare to be different. I like them. What color will the car be? Have you thought about maybe powder coating them black (assuming you are painting your car a dark color).

Re: what do you think of these rims?

the car is gonna be a tangerine pearl. so black rims could still look cool with a heavy window tint. thanks for daring to be different camaroman, i want my car to stand out even if people say "eewwwww, look at those rims" lol. thanks for the feedback guys.

Re: what do you think of these rims?

get them painted a dark gray, but leave the outside of the rim bare machined aluminum..
i think they'll look killer.

you don't plan sincerity.
you have to make it up on the spot.

wanna hear about 20 years ago when i was too smart to know any better?
