Re: 350/330 crate engine cam upgrade

You are dealing with the newer block like the ZZ3 that I had. I went to the orginal ZZZ cam 10134334 with more duration. Ran better , would not lay down at 4800 . I believe the cam you have is 212/222 @ 435/460 lift.
The #334 is 235/235 @ 480/480 with the springs that came on the alloy L98 heads. Had this motor in manual and AT car but with 2k stall converter with 3.73 gears. There are others .

Re: 350/330 crate engine cam upgrade

I have that same motor in my 69z28, with 4.10's and an m-22wr. If you want to go roller install the gm hot cam kit. Several of the magazines installed the comp cams xtreme energy 268 and said it was good for 375hp. I installed the lunati voodoo 268, with crane 10309-1 springs and am relly happy with it. I don't have any dyno numbers but it definately picked up power all across the board and still pulls 13" of vacum at 750rpm idle.
