92 Camaro 3.1L Camshaft Pull in Car??

Is it possible to pull and replace the camshaft without doing an engine pull.???? Would it also be possible to change the camshaft bearings without pulling the engine and if so, how????

Re: 92 Camaro 3.1L Camshaft Pull in Car??

Will probably just replace the camshaft and maybe the front cam bearing, timing chain (as long as I am there), and the lifters.. When I did a compression check I had 138 to 145 in 4 of the cylinders and 122 to 125 in the other two... Going to pressure test them again tonight to see if they hold pressure just to make sure about the valves and rings...
