Big block heads
Do most big block heads have rocker arm studs protruding into the intake port the slightest bit?

That dont sound right to me. I can't speak for all bbc heads , but I know the studs on mine dont. Hopefully someone with more experence will chime in , thats interesting

it isn't anything major. Just the tip of it sticks in. I just assumed that was a HUGE airflow issue.

Most studs don't stick into the port but the hole is visible. The new Chinese counterfeit junk knock-offs have helicoils that stick 1/4" into the ports - right in the ceiling where they have the most affect on flow. Junk, IMHO.

Okay, I have a set of Brodix heads where a thread of the heli-coil is visible. Should I do something about it?
