68 302 fuel pump #

I've had no luck searching here to find the part # for the 68 Z28 fuel pump number. Does anyone know for sure? I've seen some for sale and say they're correct for Z28 but have two different #s and they can't both be right. I hate E-bay liers.

1968 Z28 British Green, all original except CE 302 engine. Have original owners booklet and protect-o-plate.

I believe the correct fuel pump for the 67-68 302 engine is AC Delco #40524.

Thumbs up Re: 68 302 fuel pump #

I think was discussed a while back, but I couldn't find the post.
John is correct on one of the part numbers (AC's), but there is more to it.
GM part number #6470422 (group 3.900) was originally an AC40524 (1st design) and then revised to AC40725 (late 67) - so a 40725 may be more available and may be more "correct".
They look pratically the same and I doubt anyone will be able to tell them apart.
This would be a good thing to get Jerry's or Wayne's input on someday.
