Sure, they are different so go from there!!

PS., and I did when I switched from my 406 SB to my 496 BB..

And fwiw, my old 409 "W" engine fit on ALL my SB stuff like it was installed by the factory back then...

67-68 frame stands use short and wide engine mounts.
69 frame stands use tall and narrow engine mounts.
Both Big Block stands move engine forward about 1/2"(?) and 1" to passenger side.

69 Camaro -originally a LM1 car. 327, Edelbrock E-streets, hooker, DUI performance distributors, ultradyne cam, stewart, TRW etc. Vintage Air, AGR steering, Corbeau GTSII seats, 700R4 transmission, 12-bolt w/Eaton 4.11:1

Re: Difference on BBC mounts

I wasn't trying to be smart but rather was just trying to tell you to get correct ones even tho we can pretty much mount any engine on any rubber and frame mount setup.

If you don't there is a very good possibility that you will run into header fitment issues is all.

All (and probably more) than you wanted to know.
