engine casting ?
I have a 3956618 casting v8 in a project car(caprice), vin stamp on engine matches the car, but code is v0221hv, looks like a 300hp 350 from what I can find, but I don't find HV code for the year 69. What is it?.. Thanks

Are you sure it's not HY which is a 69 350 ?? It could also be a mistake from the factory, things like that do happen. If the vin matches the car, I would bet it is the correct engine, cannot imagine anyone wanting to restamp one in a Caprice.
