"2 Hour Rule"
From the time that I jacked the car up till the motor and trans where out on the Ground/stand was 2 hours. My son came to help during the last 30 minutes just for a second pair of hands. Motor came out the top and the trans out the bottom. Left the cross member in place. It is much easier to work on when everything is clean and dry
, Plus I put the car together with the mechanic in mind unlike the Aircraft that I have worked on.
Now the fun part of tearing it apart to find out what is causing my oil pressure rise problem. Also going to freshen up the trans and switch in a Hughes converter.
Sorry Chris couldn't wait for ya, Had to get started by myself. Call me later about this motor.
67 RS Clone, 388 SBC/Keisler TKO 600/12 bolt, 3.90 gear w/posi and a 250 shot of N2O for fun. See my progress at: password is camaro
