Question LG4 305 in a 84 Berlinetta

I just got a 1984 berlinetta with the 4bbl 305 (LG4). It has all kinds of emission control stuff and hoses and what not that im not familiar with. Is there any kinda of emission stuff i can delete. Is this car computer controlled. Im new to this whole camaro thing. Please help.

Why do you want to delete it? Is the engine not running properly? And yes, the car is computer controlled if someone else has disabled it already. I don't know about where your at, but some states get kinda funny when you start removing emmission control devices.

laws. well they dont matter . The reason i wanna delete some of this stuff is because i dunno what to do with it. I want the motor to look like a small block should. with the minimum number of wires and hoses. If i want to do an engine swap what do i do with all of this? like a 60-70's model smallblock. Thanks.

I have some unrelated questions,

What was Chevy intending with the Berlinetta? When did the Berlinetta begin and end and what made it different from a standard Camaro?
