Camaro makeover

The engine in my 86 (2.8L) just died. I have been wanting to put a new motor in it. Maybe 305 or 350. I have a lot of questions about my decision.
Will either of these motors bolt up?
Will i need a new trans?
Will i need a new rear end?
Also changing from FI to carb.
Im not looking to race it , just want something with a little power.
Any answers.

Re: Camaro makeover

350 or 305 will not bolt up to that tranny if you really want to do this you might want to try to find a donor car with v-8 for all the extra parts you will need
