What is the difference in these two FelPro oil pan gaskets ?

I will be installing a new Moroso oil pan and want to use a one piece oil pan gasket on my big block 454.
Can someone please tell me what the difference is in these two that are sold on summitracing AND would you recommend using these ???

Jay,
As far as I know the only difference is the package. One is in the Fel Pro "performance" line, and the other in the "regular" Fel Pro line. I have used a bunch of them on Small Blocks and they work great.

The 4 plastic pins are "pan hangers". They hold your pan in place so you can get all your bolts started with the new gasket .

I have used these in SBC and BBC. Work great.
Just use a little silicon at the 4 corners...

Re: What is the difference in these two FelPro oil pan gaskets ?

I don't know about BB one pice gaskets are, but on the SB the u shaped part is of two different thicknesses. Depends on your oil pan. I didn't know this before, bought one, then had to buy the other. Because I had installed it and then noticed there was still a gap. You probably wouldn't notice it if you were replacing it while the motor was still in the car. Until it was to late and you were leaking oil out the front seal.
