Easy question

I have a carb spacer for my 396 with holley carb. The space has smaller ope nings on one end and larger openings for the other 2 chambers. Do the wider opening go in the back?

Re: Easy question

Yes the large holes are for the secondaries and go toward the firewall. That said look at the intake manifold and bottom of the carb, are both small primary and large secondary? I ask because you could have several combinations, spread bore manifold and carb, spread bore manifold and square bore carb or square bore manifold and spread bore carb...

Re: Easy question

primary and secondary are same size on the carb, but the spacer has larger cone or funnel shaped intakes for the secondaris.
