Angry Stock 1967 327 header installation

We installed a new set of Hooker Competition Headers on our stock 327 Camaro. The passenger side rides high with the mounting flange almost touching the floor boards. The driver side slants at a significant lower angle. Hooker says these are made for multiple years and there are tolerances. Is this acceptible? They do not come out at the same plane. I can make them work but they look crappy.

That is how the Hooker headers are. They don't want to change anything... so its our tough luck. Do a search... it has been discussed many times.

Consider yourself lucky, I had to heat and pound mine so they fit. I won't be buying them again! I think I will go with Summit ones next time.
