69 Camaro 396 front Oil Pan leak

Brand new 100% restoration, frame off nut and bolt project. We fired the engine this weekend and it ran fine. I looked under the car and there was an 5 inch oil puddle under the car. I did not assemble the engine! The oil is running out of the small hole that is located dead center in the front oil pan lip. Question, do you have to pull the engine to replace the oil pan gasket or can it the pan be lowered enough to replace the gasket? I have been advised to use a one piece gasket. Can you loosen the front of the pan and seal just the front lip? Any suggestions would be appreciated..
Thanks Team Camaro.....

pull the motor mount cross bolts raise the motor with a hoist and you should have enough room to pull the pan ( you may also want to pull the distributor, so it doesn't hit the firewall)
