Question 1968 Camaro 327 ME Decode

Hi Guys,
I have a question regarding the numbers stamped on the pad of my 327.
I know ME is for 327/210 HP with a Powerglide. However, I have no idea of what the other numbers mean

VI2I5ME
18N36XXXX Partial VIN

Any help with the VI2I5ME Part is greatly appreciated.

I just looked at the Protecto Plate and it looks like the numbers might be V1215ME
Thank You in advance.

V designates Flint engine plant, 1215 would be the date-dec.15, ME means Powerglide.
