fuel line?

I'am replacing the fuel line with stock 3 piece z-28 line from classic,well when I tried to attach,I found that the linto the brass block is 3/8",bthe line to carb is 5/15" to small for the carb inlet.what going on? is this the wrong line?

Holleys are available with 2 different size inlet fittings. Yours are the larger 3/8 you need the 5/16 size to fit the stock type line. Inline tube or right stuff show them in there online catalog. I believe i have seen them in ricks and Ground up also.

Ok,I see,but do you think that snakinging doon to 5/16 will hurt performance? were the all z-28 this way?

Yes they were that way. It won't hurt performance unless you're building a race car, for a street car it'll be fine. You can make your own lines and use your 3/8 Holley inlets if you want. Just buy a brass inverted flare tee fitting that has 3/8" fittings. That's what I do on my Holley carb engines and keep the 3/8" fittings on my carb.
