462 casting

I have a set of 462 casting heads and would like to know how to tell how much has been taken off of the surface to determine the CC's of the heads?

Average milling for Darts are.005" BB -.0065" SB per cc. Probably similar chamber shape. I WOULD SAY ITS VERY SIMILAR. Average it out

Wink Re: 462 casting

Stock head surface is @1.408(+/- .005)" from the center-line of the intake bolt hole to the head surface - but this is tough to measure correctly due to angles being 10deg. off ...
It would be easier to just CC one of the chambers and use the number.
Stock chamber should be @63 (+/- 1)CC's.
