No spark again

A month or so ago I posted a problem I was having with my ignition. I traced it down to the resistance wire causing enough voltage drop to keep from generating enough voltage to create a spark. I ran a new wire from a switched source on the fuse box and it fixed the problem. Well here it is about 1 month later and it doesn't seem to have a good spark. I have a new Billet HEI distributor in it and it was running fine. I ran a hot wire from the batt directly to the dist cap but it only had 11.26 volts. I need to charge the battery then will try again tomorrow. Could it be a insufficient ground? Any other ideas?
Thanks

Re: No spark again

I had a new ignition switch laying around and decided I would try this. I installed it and charged the battery and it sparks and starts now. Perhaps the ignition switch was wearing and causing a voltage drop on the line. We will see. Now on to the next problem.

Re: No spark again

Or the battery was too low.

Re: No spark again

I lost all power (no spark, cranked great) coming home from the track at 10:30pm ish. No flashlight, but lucky to have a buddy following... bad ground cable... all new cables (+ & -) and a few extra ground wires for GP ... no more issues
