AC oil filter

I have an AC oil filter# PF1218 . The engine is a 396 that call's for part # PF454 but the filter is very short. The last few oil change's I've used fram filters and want to go back to an AC that I have used in the past , but I do not remember the filter being that small. Does anyone know if the PF 1218 is going to work. The two look exactly the same to me only one is longer.

Re: AC oil filter

Thank's for the reply Doug. Nice lookin car , good times your running too.

Going to get mine to the track this year and have a little fun with it. Hoping to see high 12 or low 13's the car is not set up for the track though , I did recently install a set of slide a links and cured my wheel hop issue , that should help a little at the track

Thanx again Doug and good luck with the 11.5 's
