327 to 350?

I have a large journal 327 that needs a crank. I'm guessing it's not as simple as putting a 350 crank in, right? Are the pistons and rods different?

Re: 327 to 350?

Are you trying to go to a 350 ? You will need new crank, and pistons. If you are going to do it, you might as well go for a 383 with a 400 crank and new pistons.

69 Camaro -originally a LM1 car. 327, Edelbrock E-streets, hooker, DUI performance distributors, ultradyne cam, stewart, TRW etc. Vintage Air, AGR steering, Corbeau GTSII seats, 700R4 transmission, 12-bolt w/Eaton 4.11:1

I was considering it. Are the rods the same?

Do a search on JimM's rebuild from last year. He took his tired little 327 and built a 383. I believe there is a thread on it that details his work.
