512 C.I. BB has found it's home

Finally dropped the motor in today and the TH400. Got all my tips and suggestions here at camaro Net.

Here's a peek.

Still have a lot of work and NO the cutouts aren't going on that way there just slipped on lol. By the way I don't know what all the fuss about drop spindles is? My tie rod clears the tire by at least 3/4 of an inch.

This rearend is going to be a doozie to get 3" pipe around, we are currently on that task and running "E" brake cables from Lokar.

Running new brake lines, gas line and transmission lines was a bear also but thats for another thread.

That's cool. My next house is definately going to have a lift. Moving next summer, so it won't be long.

Engine looks great too.

The shop and rack are my budds in the pic, glad he's not charging me rack time by the hour lol. Thnaks for the kudos, that motor is a buick V6 out of his hand built custom sand rail (he's a hell of a fabricator and has about every tool known to man lol).

Looks very good, nice work.

About the spindles, it looks like you have larger diameter wheels and that should help with clearance. Also not all dropped spindles have that "issue" from what I understand. Backspacing would also effect this clearance.
