Sparkplug/Header Clearance With Vortec Heads

I'm building a new engine for my 69 and am having concerns about sparkplug/header clearance. The engine consists of a 99 5.7 roller cam block with Vortec 906 heads and Hedman headers. I've had clearance issues with #3 & 5 plugs already and am thinking there may be more issues since Vortec plugs are closer to the exhaust ports. So...has anyone done this or know if there will be any problems? Thanks

I have a vortec engine in my 87 truck. It has some cheap 1.5'' long tubes and I have no problem with spark plug boots touching. I have AC plugs in it and the wires have 90* boots.

I dont have your setup but i had one spark plug boot that was touching against the header. I put a shorty plug in that particular cylinder and problem solved.
