Question Value of New Exhaust System for My 67???

Curerntly I'm running 2.25 inch duals into 14 inch turbo mufflers into 2 inch tail pipes that turn down as they would stock. I'm running a .30 over 427 (fairly big hyd cam with a ice lope) with headers that have 2 inch primmarys and 3.5 inch collectors. I run the engine up to 6000 rpm max. It's just a street car. The exhaust sytem I currently have does not have a X or a H pipe...just true duals. It sounds great, but one of the turbos has developed a hole after 27 years of service (I have had the car since 1975). I have read tons on this website and others regarding mufflers and exhaust size and I admit I am getting confused and am about ready to just get a new turbo muffler put back on for $50.00 rather than spend $500.00 plus for a new system. I'm OK spending money if the return is good, if the return is small then I question the value. I would value the opinions of those reading as to wheather the investment in a whole new system is worth it. The pipes on the current system are solid...just one bad muffler.

Thanks!

If it's not a new build, then just replace the mufflers.
