Headers

Anyone using ceramic block hugger headers.
I purchased a set of hooker 2451 ceramic-coated headers that were supposed to fit.

I have a 69 Camaro 350 / 350 turbo, A/C and power steering. The problem I have is with the power steering gearbox. One of the header tubes is hitting the box. The stock power steering gearbox has been replaced with a new AGR power steering box. The original box was not a close ratio and the replacement look identical in size. After talking to Summit tech support, they canít seem to find the problem. I have had comments from some of the members suggesting I have the wrong motor mounts. After doing some research I have found there are three different motor mounts for 67, 68 and 69 I thing I have the short style so I decided to experiment. I raised the motor by shimming the base mount by ľĒ I think this would simulate the narrow tall motor mounts. Even after raising the engine and no gaskets I have maybe a 32nd of an inch clearance, to close to the steering box for me! Can someone offer advice on a good set of reasonably priced block hugger headers that will fit?

Thanks,
Wayne
