Oil pans

I have a '70 Corvette oil pan for my 350 I wanted to use. Will it fit in my '69, or is it too big? I have the engine out now, so I can't measure the crossmember and steering link. Thanks.

Nope it wont fit, unless it is the superceded GM part number that is a 5 quart L82 pan , the same as a 69 Z28.
Post a picture and I will tell you for sure.

Re: Oil pans

If I am correct, I believe the bottom of that pan would hit the crossmember of a 69....

Yes and the drag link. That is a std 65-74 corvette pan and also 69 350/350HP as well as others.
