Re: Blown Motor

i would guess that the motor is not blown.it sounds like the head gasket is blown.is this the car i read on another post about you driving in cold weather and the heater blowing cold air and then it started over heating on side of road?

i would think if it was blown and would still run then it would be knocking or something..sounds like it would be better to just rebuild the motor.blue smoke is oil burning

Re: Blown Motor

i would be looking at your intake gasket those gm v6's were notorius for the garbage intake gaskets to blow. then anything goes antifreeze or oil leaking in or out of the motor.i had 3 gm v6's and had to repair all 3.1 with 20K 1 with 60K and 1 with 85K on them.
