302 Trans-am SBC

Today building vintage Tran-am engines using the correct parts for the club your are joined, A single 4bbl carb 304C.I. Chevy can make 550HP @7600 rpm
410 lbft @ 6600 rpm. At about the same rpm points the cross ram intake with factory carbs makes another 25HP and 15 lbft Its still fun working on all the types of racing. Have Fun, Jim Jones

Hey Tra-co. Do you any pictures of the motor you are building? I am thinking of building the same motor. Hoping to wind it out over 7K.

Hello parnellync and welcome to TC. That sure seems like a big number. I have not heard that high of a number before. Maybe about 485 HP. How are you doing that? What and who's club? Just curious.
