Question I need help 2

I really donít have a budget all my money I make goes into the car its all I care about right now. I want the car to be driven a lot but fast on the track and on the street. What I need help on is what kind of cams, rods, and pistons. I donít know much about the ratios or what would work good together. I would like something that I could easily put a super charger on when I can finally afford one. I heard that would be the easiest route to go on my 81. I have a 350 small block and a th400trans

Re: I need help 2

That is really an open-ended question. If you are positive you are going to supercharge it, you will want to build it different than NA. You will want a strong bottom end using forged parts especially if you plan on a lot of boost. If you are planning on replacing the bottom end anyway, you might want to check into a 383 rotating assembly. If you are planning on NA you will want the compression not over 10-1 unless you are planning on using aluminum heads. Lots of variables here.

Well, sounds like ya really want to go fast...but also take into consider the safety side of the go fast equation... like bigger rotors and such.
