Small "down leg" annular booster??

I have never come across this yet and was wondering if any of you have. I just recently came across a Holley carb with a proform main body. Someone has swapped out the regular boosters for some down leg boosters but the darn things have an annular style to them. In other words....there is not one dischage hole coming out the booster tube. There are about 6 small holes all the way around but the booster looks exactly like a 750 Dp booster and not the usual large straight annular booster. Have any of you seen this and are there any advantages or disadvantages? Thanks!

Re: Small "down leg" annular booster??

Like you I thought all annular boosters were straight, never seen a down legged annular booster. But it seems like that would be the best of both worlds. Always thought that would be a great set up.

I'm anxious to hear from other members if some one is making these.

"..............what, and get out of aviation??"
