Somewhere theres a crank flange diagram post.

I'm trying to help a friend ID the motor that in his 62 Chevy pickup project.

It's a 3970010 block, it has 4 bolt mains but a very small and skinny balancer.
(Only about 1/2 inch thick) There's no characters on the pad or at the oil filter boss.

I believe on this forum at one time someone posted diagram drawings of the crankshaft flanges. A diagram would really help in figuring this motor out.

I did a search but didn't find the diagrams I was looking for.
Hope someone remembers this post.

Fwiw, the 283 I finally got that was my Nephew's has a SJ 302 crank in it w/ the notch!

A regular forged 265 and 283 SJ crank will be completely round b/c my old junk301 had a '55, 265 crank in it!
