Holley Fuel Line Direction

I have a Holley 750 w/ vac sec., does it matter which direction the fuel feed lines come from? I know the traditional for it to come from the front of the engine, but I wanted it to come from the rear of the engine for a cleaner look. Would that cause the secondaries to flood?

Re: Holley Fuel Line Direction

It's more of a practical matter than traditional since the mechanical fuel pump is located at the right/front corner of the engine.

If you are using an electric, in-line pump the direction won't matter.

Re: Holley Fuel Line Direction

As above its just easier with a mechanical pump to run the line from the front. Also, if racing there's less chance of running the bowls dry due to the G-Forces (if it's a real fast car)
